Terms of Service

Effective date: 19 January 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Radarix speed camera alert application, website, and related services (“Services”). By downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you act on behalf of a company or fleet, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

1. Accounts and access

  • Each driver must maintain a unique account and keep login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out under your account, including community reports you submit.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if we detect unauthorised use, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

2. Permitted use

  • Use Radarix solely for lawful driver assistance, navigation, and road safety purposes.
  • Obey all traffic laws and never rely solely on the App—posted speed limits and road signs take precedence.
  • Do not misuse the Services by submitting false reports, interfering with other users, or attempting to access backend systems without authorisation.

3. Customer data

You retain ownership of the data you submit, including location traces, camera confirmations, and feedback (“User Content”). You grant Radarix a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use User Content to operate, improve, and promote the Services. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

4. Service availability

We aim to provide reliable alerts but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy. The availability of enforcement data may vary by region, and there may be occasional false positives or missed alerts. Use the Services at your own discretion.

5. Subscription and fees

Premium features (such as background audio warnings, CarPlay integration, or fleet dashboards) may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and renewal details are displayed in-app or in a separate agreement. You can cancel auto-renew from your device or by contacting billing@radarix.app.

6. Confidentiality

If Radarix shares non-public information (such as roadmap previews or fleet analytics), you must keep it confidential and use it only for evaluating or using the Services.

7. Intellectual property

Radarix retains all rights to the App, database, logos, and content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services except where permitted by law.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Radarix disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that alerts are 100% accurate or that the App will prevent speeding fines.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radarix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including traffic fines or lost profits. Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid Radarix in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services. Upon termination you must uninstall the App and cease submitting data; selected information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be shared in-app or via email before they take effect. Continuing to use Radarix after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Istanbul (Anadolu) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Services, except where local consumer laws provide otherwise.
